Sydney is an excellent city. It has a lot of opportunities. One very useful advice which I have for juniors is to try and get to know as many people as possible who are also going to Australia through networking sites groups etc. then you can have company when you travel. I contacted other students from Mumbai and we were able to make travel arrangements together.

The PR process was easier when we came here. The government has now become very strict about the rules.

It is a good place to study. My program was well chalked out. The faculty were totally dedicated to their research...and I must say that they also took a keen interest in teaching. The quality of education was pretty high and it was real hard work to keep up...but you get used to it after a while. On the whole, I enjoyed myself.

There are a number of big universities in Sydney so the city is filled with students. There are lot of Indian students in Sydney.Weather is good. Lot of good beaches.
