I am doing my Masters degree in International Events and Festival Management. I knew that I wanted to be based in Edinburgh because it is known as the festival city. So I started looking around and there are not that many geared towards events and festivals and Napier being one of them, I applied here…it was my first choice.

The program is for a year, we started in October and I will finish by the end of September. Its great I am able to balance theory and practice because being a student after working for such a long time its nice to be able to work and study at the same time. I am interning at the French office at the moment.

It is a modern University. It tries to be holistic in its support of the students. It has lots of modern facilities, which is lovely. Its trying to take education to the next level, especially within the international community. You get students from all the countries and English is not necessarily their first language…and it really tries to support them in all possible ways, like I said in a holistic way.
