Singapore is a safe and great place to live and study for students where there are 10 flights a day from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City and vice versa. I have met many foreign friends since I am studying here; all of them are from different cultures in Asia like Indonesia, China, India, Nepal, Vietnam and Singapore as well. I did a careful research on the school website to choose the suitable program and decided to pay a visit to the school before registering the MBA course. Until now, I have to say that I have no regret with my choice :)
The Recruitment team of the school was very helpful and it all took nearly one month to complete the admission procedures. After arriving Singapore, school staff took me out for medical checkup and student pass collection. If I need further information, they would assist me asap. Moreover, the pick up service will be provided as requested of student.
About scholarship: There is a $SGD 6500 scholarship for international MBA students who complete the MBA course with the results with every module that is over 75 (total 100)...And I am aiming for this :) so far so good. I were waived 1 level of English studying which costs $ SGD 1,500 when I registered.
We have 9hours/ week for the lecture class to discuss debate and share knowledge with classmates and the lecturer. This is the MBA program and it expects the high level of self-study. Then the time in class is very valuable. However, the lecturers are very knowledgeable and helpful in sharing with us. The method of delivering the course is very practical and high of interaction.
We study on module basis which means we study one module for 3 weeks and take exam in the last Saturday of the month, with that flexible schedule and method, I can focus on my study for that particular subject and aim to get high result. The campus is small and well equipped. There is student union with extra activities, but the classmates and schoolmates are very friendly too, we often organize parties ourselves to gather and have fun.
Many schoolmates have found their own jobs in Singapore now and the school has just established the Job portal to help graduating students in this.
