It is an altogether different experience to studying back home in Malaysia. Over here, you dictate how much you want to learn and how good you want to be. It's really about taking initiative. If you're good with that, you'll do well here.

It isn't hard to get in as the TER requirement is not as high as other unis for chemical engineering. The whole application process is pretty seamless. The Pre departure briefings also help a great deal.

The university does offer some scholarships to international student however you will have to enquire about them.

Studying here is pretty great. Approx 20+ hours? You'd find you'll actually be doing close to double that amount on your own as there is that much to styudy. Fortunately there are coursemates to help you through. Else, the lecturers are pretty friendly and will help clarify certain things to you.

As much as i love the uni I can't say the same about Adelaide as a place. This place is pretty dead after dark and is a far car from the bustling city i'm used to. I guess thats where your friends really make it bearable. Accomodation anywhere isn't really that expensive.

Prospects are pretty good partly due to how relevant this course is to employers.
