Being in Sydney is such a big opportunity for me. I am enjoying my study at Victoria University. Doors of opportunity are always open for international students, as long as you know how to manage your time and your life very well. The university has the Computer Science course only in Sydney, but the main branch is in Melbourne. But I love what I am receiving from the school, occasional support and great value for money.

I processed my requirements for my university all by myself, but the visa application and other stuff, I have got assistance from a different agency in my home country. They processed everything, and it took me only 2 months to wait for my visa to be released. It was not difficult to gain admission in my uni. International students are very much welcome to enroll.

I have a sponsor and relatives in Sydney that helps me sustain my education in Victoria University. But on other cases, if you have no sponsors or relatives, the university has a funding and scholarship that is available for students from different countries.

My course in this term is Diploma in Computer Science. At start, it is a tough job as you are still adjusting in Sydney's teaching lifestyle. I study for 20 hours per week, then I work 20 hours per week as well. That makes 4 days a week and 5 hours per day. I receive the study support I need from my university. My course is truly a great value for money.

I love being in Victoria University because it brings out the best in me. I enjoy the facilities, the kitchen in every floor, the special events on Friday nights, and the services rendered for the students. I also love the place, it is located in the city, though it has a high standard of living in the city, you will still enjoy it as long as you have a lucrative job.

Internet Browsing for part time jobs is really a big help for you to find work/jobs and by walking-in directly to the company that you would like to work for. Fellow alumni give assistance and advice to international students, and it is good to talk with them because they were in our same situation before. It is not a problem to ask things about the standard of living here in Sydney, as well as about the course.
