When I arrived at Edinburgh's Napier University in 2003 to study for an MBA, I already had three degrees. I had to start working immediately after this. I received assistance from the Fresh Talent Scheme and when I qualified in 2006 it was a big relief. Before the fresh talent scheme was introduced most students who took a degree in Scotland had to leave once they were qualified as obtaining a job was very hard.
Scotland is lovely and I particularly like Edinburgh. The city is very historical and I want to make it my home. I like the working culture here and the people are really helpful and friendly. I will be going back to the fresh talent scheme to ask for further advice in how to extend my work permit and eventually obtain permanent residence in Scotland.
I now work for Lloyds TSB Registrars in Edinburgh. My ambition is to remain in Scotland advance my career and contribute to the economic growth of the country.
