It was pretty easy for me as I had come from Monash University Malaysia. Hence, I did not have to reapply or anything, save for a transfer form.

In australia, the scholarships are geared towards helping those who are unable to help themselves. So, in terms of opportunities, I would suggest malaysian students to get one from malaysia rather than securing one here.

It's really great as the lecturers here really drill into your head that you have to work out everything for yourself rather than the 'spoon-feeding' ways of malaysian lecturers.

It's been a scant 5 weeks but every bit has been enjoyable save for the awfully short opening hours for commercial shops. Eating after 5pm is quite hard around here.
