I was a student at the University of Connecticut. I enjoyed the program. Most of the courses were offered at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. It is a good university with helpful faculty. The university gave me full aid, this was one of the main reasons for choosing this school. My project was on Distributed component systems. Before I got here, I got my visa from the Delhi Embassy. The interview was a walk thru - harldy took a min. Basically ¿ they seemed like reasonable ppl - no unnecessary Qs. One useful tip for students about the consulate, u r sposed to fill in the names of 2 persons who can vouch for your residence etc. this shd not be immediate family or relatives. So make sure u know 2 addresses & phone numbers. This how it was when I attended, things may have changed now. At that point of time all the other students I saw - maybe 4 - all got their visas too.
