Of the 3 admits I had, I selected NIU as it the best of my admits. This univ offered me a unique course namely assemblers which was offered by only 2 univs in US ..and NIU was best among those two...
The visa interview was not bad. I was asked the usual questions about the course and the university. It's best if students go prepared for the interview by reading up as much as they can. All the best.
My father funded my education.
We had highly qualified, experienced and resourceful faculty. Very good lab facilities.
Very good job opportunities both in India and abroad in the areas of credit card systems and for bank transactions for graduates.
