My goal was to start my own embedded industry. With this aim I took up my Masters at Portland. I had also communicated with D.V. Hall who was working at the university and realised that I shared specific interests with him, moreover he accepted me to work under his guidence...I had a very instructive time at Portland.
Friends, pls be ready with answers regarding your course and university. My visa interview was pretty easy.
I was self funded.
The dept of Elec Engg had high quality research, teaching and outreach programs.
Very good job prospects.
