Having graduated form JIPMER, one of the top medical schools in India I wanted to pursue my Masters at one of the top schools in the US. I was attracted to the preventive potential of medicine from the undergraduate years itself and I felt that pubic health with it's emphasis on prevention can play a great role in India.

UTHSC is a very expensive school, but it was worth it. The many disciplines of Publis health such as Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental health, Community health, etc. were handled very well. Overall, it was a good program.
