I find Toowoomba very peaceful, not too busy and its easy to get to the campus.
Being an international student my main concern is my language skills but the teachers make it easy for me to understand them. They are patient and wait for me to finish my sentences and they individually explain the cooking theory to me. I have found all the kitchen equipment at SQIT very good. I visited the Hilton Hotel kitchen in Brisbane and compared to that kitchen the equipment here is very good. I was studying on the Gold Coast but living with my friend in Toowoomba and travelling every weekend to the Gold Coast.
Toowoomba is much cheaper than the Gold Coast, particularly for rent. Toowoombas weather is good and not as cold as Korea.
