I enjoy exploring places and things, but most of all I have liked exploring the numerous opportunities the University of Findlay offers. The University of Findlay provides opportunities that every international student looks for: a quality education at an affordable cost, serene location and a home away from home. I believe that with hard work and eagerness, all UF students can achieve success. You have to believe in yourself and explore your opportunities. The United States is indeed a land of opportunity but you have to be a keen learner and open the door when opportunity knocks.

I worked as a graduate assistant in the international admissions office and as a graduate assistant for the environmental program.

To make the most of my UF education, I learned to multitask in a multicultural environment. Working hard to obtain a challenging position in an environmental field after graduation, I undertook 40 hours of training through the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Meeting people from different countries, sharing their culture and being invited to their festivals and other ceremonies are things that very few people are able to experience. Activities with the Nepali Students’ Association have enhanced good bonding among us. We celebrate our religious customs together, which has helped students to not miss their family and home so much and allows us to continue our beliefs. Oiler Environmental Safety and Health Organization (OESHO) activities like camping, Fear Factor and rock climbing have further helped me mingle and share many things with American students.
