After graduating with a general management undergraduate degree from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in China, I wanted to take a postgraduate degree such as an MSc in Management to advance my career. Among the universities offering this kind of degree, I chose Lancaster because of its diverse international students and Lancaster University Management School's strong teaching team, which indicates a strong growth trend for its future development as one of the best business schools in the world. The Msc in Management at Lancaster offered a wide range of courses, including marketing, project management, accounting management, corporate finance etc, so it was ideal for me. My postgraduate experience at Lancaster has offered me a great opportunity to develop great business and interpersonal skills through studying and working with people from different cultural backgrounds.

In addition to the courses and people, I think its convenient location is an extra bonus for Lancaster University. I used to walk from my dorm to lecture theaters, the library, the sports centre and restaurants - which were all just five minutes walk away! Besides, the quiet and friendly environment around the campus helped me to focus on my academic studies and get involved in the staff and student community. And the Lancaster's town centre offers an excellent Friday-night experience to boost up my weekends! Lancaster has treated me with a rewarding student experience that I will never forget.
