Campbell is a small university, and we are more like an extended family. Our professors are talented and teach well. They are also friendly and helpful and it’s a joy to study here. I would recommend students to join this university.

I had to write GRE and TOEFL. I took coaching for getting ready to these tests. I appeared for F1-VISA and got selected. The interview was easy. Getting tickets to our destination was easy. I flew here by Air India. It was good. The airline didn’t offer any student fare. I landed in Newark International airport. My uncle received me there. The airport is in New Jersey and I came through car from there with my uncle. And the international airport near to our university is RDU in Raleigh which is 50 miles far. I did not face any immigration problems at my port of entry.

Our university does not offer any funding.

I am satisfied with the program structure in our university. Our professors are talented and teach well. They are also friendly and helpful. Our lecture halls are wide with nice seating arrangement and acoustics. Our library has wide variety of books covering all the departments.

I live in an apartment off campus not in university dorms. University dorms are bit expensive but they are good. And also getting part time jobs is bit difficult as this is a small university and no research is going on, I mean no PhD program. As I said this is located in a rural area with all the trees around and night life is peaceful. Weather is also nice. There is an international student club which is active.

Our university does not have a placement cell and getting jobs for international students is somewhat easy depending on the GPA and other skills. Work permit process is easy with the help of international admissions. There are alumni for university but it’s not so active. But they help us in building contacts with the outside world which may fetch some job.
