It took me around 3 weeks to settle down. I was new to this place and had no friends. I was recommended by a staff to join clubs and groups to make friends, theres so many to choose from. Out here, there is a time for study and a time for fun, mostly fun but remember the time to study because you have come here to study.

I applied through a company, they took some charges as fees. It took me very long and I don’t recommend you to go to such company. I had to pay first to get ECOE, there have been some scams about fake companies so be aware and choose the right company who sends students abroad to study.

I have a loan in my name and I use that to pay my tution fees. I don’t think there is scholarship for international students. It is very important to have your fees arranged because, you cannot count on working part time and earning money to pay fees, anything can happen. So, have your fees arranged from before, let it not affect your studies.

I am a business student. The course is well laid out, giving the student enough time to understand. The teachers are well trained and experienced and makes learning so much easier. I believe that if you have a strong foundation, you can work your way to the top. This course is a value for money and prepares us for the future.

I joined some clubs before and made friends very easily through that. I recommend everyone to join clubs if you want to make friends. Even my classmates are very helpful and nice. Finding a job is not the only thing. Most students are worried about getting jobs and as a result they don’t study properly, For me, study comes first, I work 20 hours a week in hospitality field because there are some short hospitality certificates you can get and seek employment there after. I do not want to work in hospitality industry for the rest of my life. I am a business student and I want to work in an office. Hospitality for me as a part time job is fine but not a full time because its very tiring. There are lots of accommodation available from apartments, flats units to shared houses or even leasing a house. Prices vary according to the location and facilities.

There are a lot of opportunities for the good ones, not for the average ones, so study nicely and give it your 100% otherwise there is no reason studying business because it is very competitive and result oriented. I will also join the alumni and visit it frequently.
