As an International student, there are many challenges I have to face. First, as I come from a Malay speaking family, I had trouble communicating in English and switching everything to English language. But, I came to realize it is not that hard when I try. I am glad that my life as a student here is very purposeful so far. Adapt to university life here and you'll be just fine.

Well, I went through many hardship in gaining a place at my university. Even though I am quite good in Science, I have to cope with the transition from Malay language to English. They were quite strict on the command of English Language. I had to sit for test before proceeding here. Students have to ensure that they know the process and things to do.

There are study loans provided by Malaysian government, but my parents insisted that I do not apply for it. So, I am using my parents money in order to pay for my tuition fees and expenses. Maybe students can talk to the government department that is in charge of providing scholarships and funding.

As I am studying Chemical Science, I am exposed to cutting edge technology and equipments. Our lecturers and tutors encourage us in many ways. They look highly into good team work and students with passion. I reckoned they look forward into creating and maintaining good standards of the university. I never hesitated in asking for help from my lecturers, tutors or friends. So far, I think my course is value for money.

I like the facilities here. I have never seen laboratories that is so high-tech. I never regretted studying here. I love going around the town when I am free. There are many things I can learn about this place. The people are nice. It is possible to find part time job, but I am very serious about my studies. I put most of my time into studying than anything else. Yeah, I joined the Malaysian students society here. It's great.

I am not so sure because I have yet step into working world. I guess I will. I have made some good friends. I'll try my best to keep up with them.
