The university is known for its engineering than business school but the university is excellent in all aspects of developing because we could see the infrastructures and changes going on in the university. The lecturers are very kind and dedicated, friendly too. Attendance is not compulsory and as a result some people will be missing. We should commit ourselves to the session otherwise it’s difficult to complete the course. because once if you come here most of time you try to earn as much they could in part time i.e. working more than 20 hrs/wk. unless you attend the class you will be not able to complete assignments given because assignments cannot be submitted by goggling or from Wikipedia. All the theories and application should be applied in the case study and we should prove it by giving the right strategic information and believe me you can do only if you attend the class. Yes there some who can be successful by submitting the assignments only. It depends on the person’s ability. So I would suggest the upcoming students to work on their given time 20 hrs/wk and still you can save the money if you have the habit of saving. Classes will be conducted max of 5 hrs a day and not more than that. So you have ample of time even if you attend the class.

Getting admission is an easy process. I took IELTS, dint attend any classes and searched for few universities in www.uniguru.com and applied for those. Applying to the university will not be a problem and you could do that on your own or can refer some consultancies it’s up to you. Once you applied to the universities you will get reply in 2-3 wks saying conditional or unconditional offer it is. Once after that you have take your decision whether to join or not and should start applying for your visa. Don’t delay on this because if you going to wait till the last minute then you will be late. My visa was delayed and was not able to join in the right date as specified. Fortunately UK visa has no interview process if all the documents you submit are without discrepancies. Only if they need some clarification they would call for an interview. Some say that if I would have applied through consultancy it would be in 1 wk of time and I got it after 3 wks since I applied on my own. It doesn’t mean that all consultancies can do this so before choosing a consultancy try to know that consultancy well and then decide don’t give your passport to any consultancy for any reasons. I took British airways my boarding was in Chennai and landed to London Heathrow. It is the only airways which allows extra student baggage offer. Though kingfisher and emirates are cheap. Remember it’s a slight difference as cost wise buy you can take max weight in British airways you can see 23 kg for a single piece in British airways official website but they allow up to 32 kg in a single piece so you can take another 32 kg since you are student. Also you could carry a hand language up to 23 kg which should easily enter a box which they check in the boarding point so see that your hand luggage enters that box. If your bag is not dumped and bulged I hope it would enter in it. The box has enough height but breadth would be 20 cm approx not sure. The university offers meet and greet in Cardiff but only klm is landing to Cardiff from Chennai its very expense up to 38,000 rs and its connecting flight in Dubai and Amsterdam (Netherlands). Also university offers meet and greet in Heathrow but the ticket fare to treforest should be barred by the student but if it is Cardiff the university people would take the student on their own convenience. Any ways nothing to worry it’s not necessary to expect meet and greet from university because it’s very simple to reach the university. once if you reach Heathrow come to coach station by following the signs in the airport which will be clear if you have doubt you could confirm in the information desk. After coming to coach station take national express bus to Cardiff central. There you could see the railway station directly opposite to the coach station. enter the railway station go to information desk and get a rail card which is 24£ and you can use it for one year see that you have a passport size photograph while taking the railway card. By taking rail card 33% of ticket fare will be reduced. After that take a ticket to treforest and the journey will be for 20 min. if you like to get a train from Heathrow to treforest then it’s going to be difficult task with all baggage’s because you have to change 4 trains and go up and down the platforms to get the right train which i did and I don’t the same by others. Take a bus to Cardiff and from there take train to treforest it’s as simple as that.

The University offers 2000£ max for international students and it’s also a reason to choose this university.

As discussed earlier teachers are very good and you will get full support from them if you are regular to class. of course and the university should deserve the money what i spent because all the lecture notes and books can used through intranet and the 24 hrs computer lab access all these kinds of infrastructure will help us to complete our course successful.

Basic facilities discussed earlier. Nearest city is Cardiff. I would suggest students to take their accommodation outside because in university its 78£/wk for ensuite room i.e. with shower, 64£ for shared bathrooms which is very expensive. i would suggest treforest would be best place than Cardiff because if you put up in Cardiff then you have to travel 20 min by train and 10 min walk to university which in turn you will not feel to attend the class since it’s not compulsory. some people in treforest also tend to this because once if come here you start think to earn more than studying so if go to Cardiff cost of living and transport expenses should be considered. coming to part time, bit difficult task but if you do active searching you will get it which is not problem sometimes you would be in a position to get reference don’t worry it’s not a big deal there are lots of seniors and some we can sort out. Some students will move to Cardiff since they got their part time there and it’s up to their own decision to be comfortable. Treforest is nice place where you can lead a normal life with all the basic need. Our university has student union and we do clubs and bars in the university itself so there will be some parties conducted every weekend. Universities do have international service and will be helpful all the time needed.

After having some conversation from the seniors the job prospects is been increased and university reputation and rank is growing ahead. We do alumni and tried contacting them yet. Since am doing my course i could participate in it. Hope the information would be helpful. Thank you
