My decision to attend Middle Tennessee was fairly easy. I want to get into radio and television broadcasting—it wouldn’t be just to get my face on television and make lots of money—and MTSU has the best program in the nation for electronic media communication. The reputation of the School of Mass Communication is virtually unparalleled. I was sold. Having it all so close to home in LaVergne just made it that much better. I want to see where all the opportunities I have at MTSU will take me.

I want to be an actor. Movies, television—it’s all good. It would be awesome to have my own show one day like Dick Van Dyke’s old variety show. I think that would be perfect for me.

At MTSU, a wide variety of activities is offered to everyone. If you’re looking for a group in which to get involved, take your choice. I know our band is awesome, our intramural teams provide a great outlet for meeting people and staying active, and there seem to be student organizations for just about any interest. If you are looking for a great environment to meet lots of people from all around the world or to start a career, MTSU is the place for you. Campus is beautiful, too. It is pretty easy to navigate and most everyone is willing to help out if you need it though one day I did walk around the same building three times before I realized that was the one I was supposed to be in. But most people are friendly. It’s really easy to strike up a conversation.
