I wanted to study a degree subject I loved and was guided by the university to its one year media technology foundation course before I pursued the BSC Music technology.

During the second year, the first on the BSc course, I really started to come into my own. I met brilliant artists and some real academic geniuses. I made close friends and valuable contacts for life. He helped run the Drum and Bass and Break Beat Society which won an award for most improved society. I also won the National Juice DJ competition and DJ round Birmingham, mainly at Digbeths Custard Factory. I spent my sandwich year with major recoding company EMI, in London. It really gave me a feel for working a major record company. I want to eventually own a label and put out the music I love.
