I took PGCE in Secondary ICT at Edge Hill University. I enjoyed my experience at Edge Hill thoroughly. The teachers are of a very high standard and monitored and advised me at every step of my training. The teaching methods are varied so it never seemed monotonous and therefore I had fun learning. During my PGCE I had the privilege to complete my teaching placements at three very unique and successful schools, where my mentors, along with my teachers were very supportive and adept at guiding me. They also gave me the opportunity to work independently and demonstrate the skills I have learnt during my education and as well as my own work as a web developer

The environment of the Edge Hill is very relaxed, with a healthy atmosphere. International students are warmly welcomed and are offered the same benefits and treated equally to other students. The classrooms are spacious and well equipped.

For my NQT year, I have been offered a job at a prestigious school in Milton Keynes. I was offered this job on my first interview. I feel this is partly because of the high standard of teaching and training offered at Edge Hill, which will undoubtedly impress any employer.
