I am enjoying the experience very well. Wentworth's name rings bells on the East coast, and is overall a pretty good school.

I had a low GPA in high school but i went to Boston Latin Academy, and that school is ranked second in Boston. I know a few people who graduated with a 3.4 and they still didn't get in.

My courses are rigorous, but with the right professors, you can get through them. Of course some courses(e.g Calculus II), will be challenging and you might receive a lower grade but it happens. Overall most of the professors are there to help you. The professors that work at Wentworth are very well known in the Engineering industry, trust me. The courses are definitely worth it.

I'm not going to lie some club advisors are not the brightest, but they all are nice. The thing I like about the being in the heart of Boston is that there are about 14 surrounding colleges, so it will be easy to meet new people and make friends. Prices around the school are fair, just stay away from the cafe. It is possible to find part-time work, but you do not want to get to carried away from your studies because it will hurt you. I was former president of the National Society of Black Engineers, I am an ambassador for LSAMP and I am apart of the IEEE chapter at Wentworth.

First off, you have two semester co-ops at Wentworth and the end of your sophomore year, you are able to take an optional co-op. So if you do take advantage of the optional co-op and the mandatory co-op, you essentially graduating with 1.5 years of experience, as opposed to Northeastern's one year co-op. Last year's graduating class average for Computer Engineering Technology started at 58,000 a year.
