Studying in this university is certainly a no pain no gain experience. Even though it is hard to pick up the different lifestyle here, it is certainly enriching. The university has the credibility that will elevate students to a higher education and standard.

I was very lucky to have my agent to solve all the going abroad things for me. She settled the application process, accommodation and other relevant details. For those who do not know how to apply and enroll to a university themselves should elect an agent to settle it for them. It’s the easiest way out.

Scholarship or loan is often hard to get. My parents and I come to a solution that we are paying my tuition fees with their own savings and EPF. For students that are good in studies, you can try applying for scholarship. If not, personal funding, bank loan or company’s loan is the last resolution.

I am taking Civil Engineering. It requires a certain talent in constructions and design. Calculation is involved to get things right. I have to attend 20hours of classes per week and a couple of hours to revise every day. They are really helpful; I can ask them anything that is regarding studies. They have deep understanding in civil engineering. Yeah.

The facilities here allow students to get the best out of their studies in Swinburne University. I have been traveling around Australia since I got here, it’s really fun. Never been better. The rental is ok, around 100bucks per week. I only work during free time and during holiday to not interrupt my study time. I joined club for engineering students.

I guess it will but it’s just the first step into the working world. The rest comes with effort, achievement, and experience in the field. I am not sure about alumni association. Maybe I am just too busy with studies at the moment, will find out when I have the time.
