Florida A & M is a great university. The course modules were well structured and our professors were really good... they could be met during their office hours or just by knocking their door whenever we need. We also have very good library facilities, among others. I wish all future students good luck !!

I had to write GRE and TOEFL exams for the admission process. I prepared by going to Datamatix Coaching class. I did not use the services of any educational counselors. I needed to get a Visa to enter the United States of America. The interview was easy for me. All they asked me was what course I was going to do. The airline did not offer any student fares. I landed in Georgia airport first and from there I took another flight to land in Tallahassee. There were no immigration problems.

Tuition waivers and assistantships are hard to get. It has been a year now and I am yet to get funding.

There is an Indian Student Community which is very helpful. They celebrate all Indian festivals and events.

There is a placement cell which organizes career fairs every semester and a lot of major global companies attend the fair in order to recruit. International students are recruited in these fairs too. The work permit process called the H1B process is like a lottery system but is easy enough. It is just a waiting game.
