I was happy at the internship program...Not only was it structured well but we also had some excellent professors to guide us. I had a lot of fun during my internship.
I did not have to write any exams as part of my admission process. It just comprised of esssays. I needed a visa, got it easily...the visa experience was a very good one. I flew American Airlines, it was easy to get the tickets.. The service was good. They did not offer a student fare neither was extra baggage allowed. I landed at Kansas City and the airport was not that far from the instituion. I availed of the Meet and Greet offered by the university. Did not face any immigration issues at the airport.
The program was structured very well. I worked under Christine Aikens. The research environment was very good. On the whole, it was a good learning experience. I did not attend any lectures. Had full access to the libraries.
I stayed at the university accommodations. It was good. The social scene and night life were pretty good. The weather was average.
