The experience has been enjoyable thus far. My advice to future students would be to consider carefully if the course of study is really something that you're passionate about
It was not difficult to be awarded a place at Nanyang Polytechnic as it is a slightly different route from the normal university path.
There are numerous scholarships offered by the Ministry of Health before the commencement of the course as well as many more sponsorships by the various hospitals during the course of studies.
The best bits of the course is the practicality of it when you really get to put into practice what you have learnt. It is no longer just theory and scoring in exams but being able to reproduce what you have learnt into real lives that we interact with.
The facilities on campus are pretty much complete. Majority of the people are friendly and facilities such as the library provide a relatively conducive place to study
Yes, I think that my job prospects have increased as a result of my studies. Professionals of this line are high in demand due to the ageing population and greater emphasis on healthy living.
