University of Western Australia is a high quality university - it provides high quality teaching and learning experience. I did my bachelor at University of Western Australia and proceed to take up the postgraduate. It is really enjoyable to study at UWA, I find the UWA has the right study atmosphere for students, everyone is serious about school and also having fun too.

I did my bachelor at University of Western Australia so I think it is easy to get in. It may be even easier if there is honours too. I did not get any assistance, I just applied online.

My course in Communication Studies deals with communications theory along with practical skills and knowledge needed in communications-related employment areas. My study hours are not fixed because some weeks I work more and some weeks less and that does affect my study hours. On average, perhaps 25 hours.My course is value for money, it is only 1 year duration but there are so much to learn.

UWA is very close to the city, I enjoy going to the city. I worked in the city too. Most people I met are friendly. I think it is easy to find part-time work, just have to walk around in the city and look for advertisements or ask around because sometimes they do not advertise on the newspapers or on the internet. My accommodation is value for money.

With a postgraduate degree, I believe job prospects have increased. I will be keeping in touch with fellow alumni and there is an alumni association in UWA.
