NTU hosts lots of students from all over the world; it is like the United Nations! We take six classes during one year.
I prefer workshops to lectures because in workshops I can be involved with other students. If I learn from talking to other students I can learn much better than if a teacher just tells me something. These are useful skills for me when I am looking for a job.
One of the main differences between me and the rest of the Asian students is that I will study Governance, Business & Development - European Region instead of for the Asia Pacific Region. It maybe a bit harder for me as I don't have the same background knowledge also English is not by first language but I want to have a challenge and learn something new. This will help me to improve myself very much.
Originally I came here to study as I planned to go back to China and work in a financial institution, but now I am not sure. Once I finish the Top-Up I would like to stay and complete a Masters in Finance.
