It is an awesome university. Freshmen, experience dorms, you get to interact with students of different cultures. Join the honors program and do buy books from your seniors. My number – 302 753 1851.

I had to take SAT and TOEFL examinations. I used Princeton and Barrons books for test preparation. I did not attend any coaching classes. My school counselor guided me while filing the applications. Yes I needed a visa. The interview process was smooth and easy. It was easy to get airline tickets. I flew by KLM. It was good. The airline offered student fare. I landed at Hartsfield Jackson international airport. The airport is 25 minutes away from the institution by car. I could not exceed more than 2 baggages. Excess baggage was not allowed. I did not face any immigration issues at the airport. There was no meet and greet service at the airport.

I am very happy with the Comp. E program. I love my major. The professors are good but there is always room for improvement. I am in the Honors program. Lecture halls are huge with advanced technology. Library has a good collection of useful books to college students.

There is a special accommodation for Honors program students. They all live together in one dorm. My dorms called Field Residence Hall. We have more than enough sports facilities- Heaven- Campus Recreation Centre. The 1996 Olympics creation. It is not that easy to get part time jobs. If you got the will, you’ll have your way. You have to try hard to look for one-talk to professors, have seniors recommend you. Night life is good. Social life is good as well. Weekends are awesome-Parties! Weather is unpredictable sometimes sunny sometimes normal sometimes extremely cold. Just yesterday was Atlantas first snow in 1 and half years. Weather is appreciable and good for living. Yes for me its India club. Indian cultural fests, sports events.

It is easy for international students to get jobs. There are career fairs and everything. You are assured to get a job once you graduate. Many MNCs come and attend the career fairs. Georgia Tech has a good name for its quality of engineers and hence attracts Big brand image companies. Work permit process is difficult for internships. There is an active alumni society and they do help with placements.
