The best thin studying at Uni is havin less days to attend than High school. Every thing is totally up to you like wether to attend uni or not is your choice. I feel that Uni is a big change coming from high school it feels like it's a place for 'adults/ grown ups' to me. When i turned 18 i didn't feel like an adult didn't feel any change but when i first started uni in that year felt that i was so much older and different. It's hard to explain but i think these were the main things.

For me to go through the enrolment/application process was extremely difficult. Being a reffuge that does not have a permanent visa (who has applied to get one) you don't get the opportunity to apply for thing like special consideration for the enter score or any other things. I had to apply as an international student and had to pay the full fee which we could not afford and couldn't get a HECS funded place. I applied for a special schoolarship and had to wait to see if i got it or not in order to get an university degree education. it was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT.

First sem. was hard b/coz you had to get used to this strange environment of having different ppl around you havin a huge school that you need to know how to get around where your teachers are and especially online material; accesing online material was a bit hard to work your way around things and where to find info. but got used to it in the end. The teacher were less imformative where they don't go into deatils of important bits of information.

The facilities are really good but its the fact of knowing where to get access. finding part time work was possible both through uni and other places (like internet) just need to make time for uni and work at the same time and being able to cope with all these things is another question because you get all these assognmets that you need to hand in and most of them on the same day as well as having to do other things like work family and personal problems that you might come accross with during your studies that are serious enough to effect how you are doing.
