Melbourne University has a great student life. There a loads of clubs and societies that can be joined and I have found that many of the Commerce societies have great contacts with potential employers and are constantly encouraging students to network throughout the completion of their degree. Facilities are wonderful - including the use of computer based materials in classes and I also love the old Melbourne heritage buildings. I would encourage all students to get involved with uni life and not just concentrate on the academic side of things. Uni is about having fun!

It was very easy to enrol at University. Make sure you keep all you documents in order check details are correct and don't be afraid to ask questions!

There are many scholarships available at Melbourne Uni including rural based scholarships scholarships for the disadvantages and scholarships for students who achieve high academic scores. If scholarships are not received there are many other ways of receiving financial assistance and it is best to contact Student Adminstration about this.

Each year has presented new challenges for me throughout my course and I enjoy that I am always meeting new people from within and outside my course. I love how my course is so diverse and would recommend anyone who is not sure about what they want to do to try and do a course that offers the breadth of subjects available through my course. There is a great flexibility allowed at Melbourne Uni and I also enjoy how approachable the staff are - both lecturers and tutors. I definitely not afraid to ask questions!

The university hours are very flexible and allow part-time work to be completed at the same time. The facilities are great for both University of Melbourne students and non-students who might want to enjoy the beautiful grounds.
