I must say that I really enjoy my time at UNSW. Banking is a fast developing branche. I was recommended to study at this University from my lecturers in Vietnam. It was really fun for me to study there. I made a lot of good friends.

It was not easy to get in. I needed to have backgrounds in Banking to apply. I was working in a big bank in Vietnam. I applied to study, and I was very nervous when I received the results. In order to have a stress-free application, you need to prepare all necessary documents, so that you could be accepted.

There are some scholarships for international students, but they were very competitive. You need to be very smart to get the scholarships.

The course was very value for money. The best bits are that I could have the chance to study with the best lecturers in the world. I spent about 35 hours to study a week. The course was hard at first, full of quizzes and assignments. But I receievd all kinds of assignments that I needed.

Sydney is a very big city, but I am living with my relatives at the moment in Bankstown, so it saved me a lot of money. The local area is very quiet and peaceful. Accommodation is very expensive if you want to live close to campus. It was not easy to find part time work because it was very competitive. The Student Union, Arc, is very active to organize activities for us. I did not join any clubs or societies.

My job prospects have increased a lot thanks to my studies. I am still studying but I think I would get a very good position once I come back to my previous bank. There is an alumni club, and I think I would join them.
