Swinburne Uni is very famous in my home country, thats why we had a lot of students from Vietnam to study there. I chose to study at Swinburne because of such a reason, too. If I was given another chance, I would say I would like to study there again. My advice to prospective students is to try hard as much as you can, there are a lot of opportunities for you out there to prove yourself.
The admin staff were excellent in customer service. They always provided prompt responses. Everything was great, and I think the students benefit a lot from their help. In order to have a stress-free application, you need to have a careful preparation of the application.
There are no funding or scholarship available for me, But if you look on the Uni's website, there might be some that might interest you. I dont think you will have difficulity finding the right scholarship for you.
I enjoyed my time at Swinburne Uni. There are a lot of international students over there. so you dont feel isolated. The lecturers and tutors are very friendly. I received all kinds of support that I needed. The course is very value for money.
The university facilities are not really much modern. I enjoyed the local area in Melbourne so much. The student fellows are very friendly and helpful. Accommodation in Melbourne is not very expensive. I heard that in Sydney the price is much more expensive. The Student Union is very active. It has been easy for me to find part time work. I did not join any clubs or societies.
I am doing my PhD at the moment. I believe my job prospects will increase thanks to my studies there. I dont think I am interested to join the alumni association as it will take a lot of my time.
