I gave the SAT, and self studied my way through it. I hired a counselor, to help me with the process. I'm on a student F1 visa, and visa interview was pretty smooth. Tickets were easy, I booked them in advance. I think I flew KLM. I'm not sure about the student fare, and no excess baggage allowed. The University had that option, but I didn't opt for it.

I think the program is structured really well. The professors are generally very good. Lecture halls. Some are awesome. Some are so gloomy that they induce sleep. Library is fantastic.

I stay in on campus apartments which are furnished and just perfect homes. Sports facilities at the CRC are superb. International students are certainly going to get jobs if they look for them. It is just that they have to try harder than their local class mates. The social scene is amazing, there's something for everyone. The city's really alive during the night. there are dance clubs, and theaters. It has clubs for all tastes and genres. There are a whole lot of bars, pubs, etc. Weather is unpredictable. The clouds are always low and freaky.
