The course is fun but it is very very hectic. Finishing 90 credits in two years with thesis is no joke. So time planning is very essential in order to have fun while studying. On the whole college life is fun filled!!

Getting admission was very simple compared to other universities. I did all work myself. Application process is very painful. Be very careful when you choose the course and the university. Visa process was complicated but with proper preparation it was very easy. Travel also was very easy with good preparation. You have to analyze a lot or take help from seniors. Planning things as a group makes it all very simple.

It is about planning the city. For this course, having GIS knowledge is completely useful. It will give you an upperhand in everything. The course is very stressful and you will have time for nothing but studying and working part time. Scholarships are easily available from the university. But Graduate Assistantship is very less in the department and the projects are not funded. Therefore, there is no chance for a research assistantship. Right now, all the staff are on sabbatical and there are very few good professors but the course is ranked well in the nation and is very well reputed. Urban Planning is also described as the best profession in the next decade by US news.

Campus is great. The facilities are also good. The city is very small. If you like good, metropolitan type cities, you wont like this one. Public transportation is poor and accessibility is also poor. Accommodation is fair compared to big cities. Part time is quite easy to obtain in the department. Make sure you have an assistantship before entering the country. The student union and international services are commendable

Job prospectus has definitely improved with the education. I will keep in touch with fellow alumini. Facilities are there for the same. I believe there is campus recruitment but have not heard of any.
