Newcastle Uni is quite far from Sydney, but I did not have enough English language requirements for other famous unis so I decided to choose Newcastle University. I think that's the best choice given the situation by that time for me.

It was tough for me at first because my English was very bad. I recieved all kind of assistance from Australian Education International. You just needed to prepare all necessary documents to apply for a student visa. I remember that was the first time that I had to prepare so many documents and paperwork.

Yes, I was awared Ausaid scholarship from Australian government for developing countries like mine. I think you can look at the list of eligible countries on Ausaid website. http://www.ausaid.gov.au/scholar/default.cfm

The course was well designed and I was taught by good lecturers. I spent 30 hours to study each week. I recieved al the support that I needed. The course is very good value for money. I sometimes had to stay up very late to finish the projects as I always left everything in the last minute.

Newcastle is pretty boring compared to the lifestyle that I expected from Australia. But if you like peaceful places, thats the one for you. Accommodation is cheap and locals are extremely friendly. I did not find part time work as I already had scholarship.

I am working in Japan right now. It is thanks to my studies overseas. I joined the alumni once, and I received updates from them regularly.
