I love children and enjoy working with them since I was young. My advice to potential student who are considering my course is that they need to love working with children.
I enrolled into my course after spending a year studying at TAFE.
There are some available but not a lot.
This course is designed to develop generalist primary teachers with particular strengths in literacy, numeracies, science and religious education who meet the requirements to teach in Catholic, independent and government schools. The course aims to produce teachers who continue to think deeply and critically about the ends and means of education and the social, political and cultural contexts that shape schools. It will produce teachers who will continue to grow professionally, and who are committed to working justly and collaboratively to make a positive difference in the lives of their students, shaping a more just and equitable society.
Life on ACU National campuses is not simply about study. Each campus has its own student association which works to enhance student life, through various cultural, social, spiritual and sporting clubs. Organising a range of activities, the student associations ensure there are a host of projects to meet the diverse interests of the student body.
Yes I think my job prospects have increased as a result of my studies. I will keep in touch with fellow alumni for the rest of my life. I have not join any alumni association.
