I am enjoying my time because of the people, the different cuisines of food available, the working/running of the school system -these are the things that make me enjoy my student life at Republic Polytechnic. At RP, the key is working team and groups, we have group work everyday. There is no homework, i do stuff right here in school. You also need to be forward and speak in front of the class and express your ideas/opinions.
About the selection process for my admission into the course i chose - i had to apply through the internet. I required "0" level results. 26 points were the cut off criteria to get admission in my case. The whole process took me about a month.
I am not sure about the scholarship opportunities available here to the students.
I am studying design for interacting, its a diploma course. The course includes things like designing songs, videos. The teachers are average - i come here to college 5 days in a week. I like digital media Arts.
We have the library, gaming room, after school we also have the sports complex for the students. working part time, its not easy to manage getting a part time job and studying at the same time. During holiday times, its more competitive as more students are free and looking for part time jobs. I am living here with my family and i enjoy the night life about my neighborhood and singapore.
Yes, i hope so. After finish this course, i will go for national service (ARMY) for 2 years, we are all required to do so.
