I did not take any test for the admission nor the help of a counselor. Yes, I needed a Students visa for my Master's and the process was quite easy. I flew Virgin Atlantic and landed at London Heathrow, but did not get the Students fare. However, I was allowed some amount of excess baggage. The airline was pretty good. I didn't face any trouble at the immigration counter. There was no Meet and Greet program at the airport.

I am pretty happy with my program. I am satisfied with the kind of teaching that took place, although there is always room for improvement. The Lecture Halls are good and the Library, very vast! It is extremely well stocked, organized and spacious.

I lived in the accommodation provided by the University, which was at a convenient distance from the College and is very central too. I shared my flat with 4 others- we had a common kitchen and bathroom. There was also in-house food available if we chose! Part-time jobs and Internships opportunities are available to students. The night life in London is good! The weather is erratic. There are International Student societies that organize special events- Diwali and Holi parties for instance.

The University has a placement cell. It's not very easy to get jobs, but opportunities are available. Campus recruitments take place andmost well known global companies attend placement events, but it really depends on you working hard. The work Permit process is quite easy. It works on a point system. There is an Alumni society in your University which is very active. They too help with placements sometimes.
