I had to appear for the SAT it was entirely self preparation, I did not attend any coaching classes neither did I use educational counsellors. I required an F1 Visa, it was a smooth experience, made sure I had all documents. Easy to get Visa and easy to get tickets. I flew KLM Airlines, best trans-atlantic airline. I landed at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Intl Airport, which is a 30 mins drive from the institution. We were allowed 2 bags, 23 kgs each, extra baggage was allowed for an extra cost. I did not face any issues at the port of entry. There was no Meet and Greet at the airport, but we had a two day orientation on campus.

I am extremely happy with the program, gets kinda hectic though. Most of the professors are really good. The newer lecture halls are good, older ones not so much, we have a brilliant library.

I stay in on campus apartments, they are small, but very convenient being on-campus. Best sports facility in South East USA. Pretty easy to get part time jobs, got a job first week of school. Campus is downtown Atlanta, so incredible social scene. Night life has a lot to offer. Neutral weather, snows a couple of days every winter. Every country has its own organization. The organise festivals, food fairs, community service etc.

There are placement cells in the university. I haven’t faced any problems regarding job prospects. There is also a campus placement process. Jobs posted online, you apply and then your called for an interview. Quite a few companies attend these job fairs. The work permit is kinda complicated, but same across all universities in the States. There is an alumni society at the university, its very active, Alumni fund a lot. Regarding placements, that depends on your networking skills and if you make connections with them.
