I heard about the college from another engineer, who said STC had a good electrical department. I started a level 1 electrical installation course at STC before transferring to the Apprenticeship scheme in my second year, once I started working at PME Ltd.
The course covers all aspects of electrical installation and gives me the theory and practical knowledge i need. I'm really enjoying the course and i'm pleased to say during my first year at the college i achieved a learner of the year award.
The Apprenticeship scheme has opened my eyes to the world of work and it has given me the hands on experience I needed. I am very happy working at PME Ltd but would like to have my own business in future.
