Life as a uni student is pretty good. My advice to anyone thinking of studying in Adelaide is to get used to the quiet environment. Come with an open mind and do not expect too much.

It was quite easy to gain admission. I went through IDP. Visa application was quite straightforward. Start your applications early and go through an agent.

My course is FUN. I've only 12 contact hours a week. With the exception of 1 lecturer so far, most of them are quite interesting. Tutors are always there for you for consultation. My course is value for money.

Facilities in my uni are not fantastic. I like Adelaide because it is small and easy to get around. Fellow students and locals are okay. I live in the University Village. It is 'not really' value for money. It is possible to find part-time work. I join the Overseas Christian Fellowship and OXFAM which is catered to international students.

Of course my job prospects have increased and I will definitely be keeping in touch with my fellow alumni.
