This course was recommended by my colleagues in Vietnam once she completed the course there. I was very excited to be offerd a place to study there, so I decided that would be my destination to further my studies. I did not know what to recommend to you, but I would love to say that Newcastle is a very quiet town, so if you are a party girl/boy, dont come there because you will be disappointed. If you would like the quiet and peaceful atmosphere, it would definitely a place for you.

The selection process was very easy for me. It was very easy to get in. I just followed the instructions and I think everything would be alright. In order to have a stress-free application, you need to prepare a set of necessary documents for the visa application straight after you recieved the eCOE from the Uni.

I received a scholarship from a University where I was working. The scholarship is not high, but it is enough for me to cover tuition and a bit of living expenses.

My study experience was very alright. I did Master by Research, so most of the time I spent with my supervisors. I spent about 36 hours a week to do research. Whenever I had a problem, I always asked for support from my supervisors and they were very helpful.

I extremely like Newcastle and the weather there. I enjoyed the local areas so much. My fellow students are friendly and easy to make friends with. Accommodation is very cheap in the area. I had a big house with a very low paid rent. I did not join any clubs or societies. Most of the free time I played with my housemates.

I am furthering my studies in UNSW doing PhD in International Studies. I will be keeping in touch with other fellow friends. I did not join the alumni association.
