The university experience was wonderful. I have the chance to study in the best engineering university in South East Asia. I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to study overseas.
The selection process of course is very difficult, as this univeristy is subsidized by the governemtn, so upon graduation you need to work for a Singaproean-registered companies for at least three years. Visas wont be a great obstacle, as long as you recieve admission letter, you will be issued visa immediately.
There are a variety of scholarships available at Uni. You can look at the Uni's webstie. In order to secure financial assistance, you need to study hard, so your scholarship will be secured.
The course is very value for money. I spent about 50 hours to study each week. The lectueres and tutors are very helpful. I recieved all kinds of support that I needed.
The university facilities are very modern and state-of-art. NTU is quite far from the city centre. The fellow students are very helpful to me. We had a peer mentor programme where new students can be helped by their seniors. I joined some clubs ad socieites for international students.
I am now working for a company in Singapore. I will be keeping in touch with other friends of mine in the course. There is an alumni association that I would like to join.
