My advice to the aspiring students is that do not choose your institution by its rating, rather than by the modules it offers and the creditability of the professor’s who are teaching those modules.

As an Indian student, for gaining entry into a master’s degree, you just need to give a TOEFL exam. It is a general English test, which you can prepare by yourself. Further you need to have a Student Visa to study at UK University, which is an easy process as compared to U.S.A. For Airlines there are various options like British Airways, Virgin Atlantis, which provide similar services to students. It depends whether your university offer a “Meet and Greet” service, as far as Queen Mary is concerned it offers this service. And finally as an International student you need to go through an immigration process.

Job prospects after a U.K degree is quiet bright but only if you intend to go back to your home country, because the main problem for International students is work permit. But you can get a part time job along with your studies to sustain your living in London. There are University’s career services, which provide advice related to job and helps you in job hunt, which is at times of great help.
