The course has been a good experience for me. I got the opportunity to make friends from all over the globe. I was able to meeet excellent teachers/guide. In the end I was able to get a good academic score as well.

The visa experience was very easy. All the documentation processing was done by Edwise international, my counselors. No exams as part of the selection process for this course. I used the services of Edwise International, santa cruz, Mumbai. I flew BMI (British Midland) from Mumbai. i had no problems with the service whatsoever. I did not use the university's meet and greet program for international students. There is one available from Heathrow though.

There are not too many scholarships offered by the University of Southampton. For my program there were none offered for International students.

I am happy with the way my program is structured. It all depends on how much you can take from the professors in the end. All the facilities the lecture halls, the library, the labs, internet facilities and the sports facilities of the University were good.

For the first part of my program I lived at Brunei halls in the Glen eyre halls complex which is close to the Highfield campus. Initially I felt student accomdation would be a good option and safe. In the summer shhifted to a house with flatmates. There are very few on campus jobs available for international students. The social scene at Soutahmpton is good so is the nightlife. It is a campus town and has all the facilities for students. In winters Southampton can get cold and windy. Students are advised to carry a fair bit of winter wear. There is an Indian student association at the University of Southampton.

The job prospects for this course depends on two things. One, your academic grades and two, the struggle that any student is willing to go through for searching a job. I think there is an alumni society at the University. i am not very familiar with the details.
