Choose your University and course with a lot of thought. I prepared myself for the entrence exam & the exam was quite easy. University of southampton has all excellent core modules, HR , Finance and Strategy were taught well with good example.

The visa interview was quite easy. I wrote IELTS. I prepared for IELTS by my own. Edwise International was my educational counselors. It was easy to get tickets. I took British airways & it was comfirtable. Yes there was a student fare offer for 40k. I landed at Heathrow. Baggage rules are Easy, 43 Check in plus 7 Hand bag. Excess baggage allowed upto 20kg more. I didnt face any immigration problem. There meet & greet was provided. 2 hrs drive from airport to institution.

I live in Unversity resident Halls. Very nice, all the facilities available. The internet was very fast and cleanliness was observed in the flat, but it might not be so in all flats. Pretty Good, with projectors and internet connections. Library are Good, all my books were easily available. There is one section where you can take the book only for 2 hours, so in that case if you need the book, take it before 6 sometime and then return it the next day. Sports, Jubilee sports center. Part-time jobs are easy because there are posters stuck everywhere from bus stop to entering shops, so you can drop your CV and they will employ you after that. City life is good, lot of international students around, it gives great exposure to learn new cultures.In night life, there are many clubs like La Margarita, Icon, Diva etc and many bars down Archers Road Lane. Weather is coldish. Its UK what do u expect! Asian Soc, Hindu Soc, Tamilian Soc, Indian Soc. Loads of special events . Don¿t remember exactly but like samosa parties, diwali, holi, all festivals and little more.

No placement cell, although the mba secretary sends jobs which are available around the world.Not very easy as they don¿t get work visa very easily. No campus placement process , there is none, it was quite disappointing after being promised that there will be.Not very easy, only 1 person from my batch has managed to survive and get a work permit. Yes, there is a society.There is a website of www.alumni.soton.ac.uk
