I am a resident of Singapore so the process was fairly easy right from the the admissions process to the visa. The selection criteria was reasonably tough with the Personal Statement playing the most important role in the selection process followed by the interview. Tip is to complete as much as possible from your home country like visas for travel (eg. Europe visa), Bank details, accomodation and logistics.

There is a 50% scholarship available for each country.

The course is a lot less stressful and demanding as compared to the Asian counterparts but it grooms you well for what you are to face. The lecturers are good and help is available eg. from peers.

Lots of university events and societies to participate in. Very lively atmosphere. Student Union is the best in UK.

Not sure with the overhaul in MTAS but the degree is valuable worldwide.
