I wanted to pursue my Masters abroad and had applied to Lamar univ at Texas, Cleveland state univ at Ohio and Southern Illionois univ. After browsing the univ website and contacting the graduate students studying in these universities and after seeing the specializations the univs are providing and taking into consideration of my areas of interests I found that Lamar univ was the best one of the 3 univ. The program at Lamar was really worth it!!

I had reasonably good scores in my GRE and TOEFL. Apart from that I also had worked for 8 months in a company even without salary just to to gain experience. This must have impressed the VO. Try to answer as honestly as possible...regarding the uni and the course selection...they prefer an honest answer even if it dosent sound very high funda. Also take care to convince the VO that you'll be getting back to India after ur prog...else he can easily reject you. All the best.

Very good job opportunities in any of the MNCs in India. Companies like infosys and satyam prefer international degree with no experience compared to Indian degree with lots of experience. So, this masters will be a great advantage.
