I really enjoy my time at Uni. NTU is famous for its engineering course. The most important advice I could give to you is that if you want to study Engineering, choose NTU because it's the best place in South East Asia.
It's not easy to get a place in a Singaporean uni. The selection process is a very tough one. Visas concerned, there is nothing to be worried about because there is some policy in Singaporean governments to attact foreign talents to come to work and study in Singapore.
There are some scholarships for students, especially international students. Just log on the website of Uni, and you will know the full procedures.
The course was very good. I enjoyed my time, and I spent about 50 hours to study each week. The lecturers and tutors are very helpful, but Singlish was very hard to understand. I could not understand what Singaporeans meant to me when I first came for a few months. My PhD went very tough, and I tried to publish a few documents.
I like the living life style in Singapore. The fellow students were very helpful and they wonderful. Local are friendly. I did not have a part time job, too busy for study. I joined some clubs and socieites to make new friends.
I am a research assistant at a uni inmy home country. I enjoyed the lifestyle in my home country that I deced to come back. Thre are other opportunities for me, but I would like to live close to my parents to look after them.
